Road Passenger Vehicle Driving
Overview
This qualification has been developed to enable learners to demonstrate their skills within the areas of passenger transportation – Community Transport, Taxi or Private Hire Vehicles (PHV).
The qualification is for learners aged 18 or over (or 21 or over for qualifications in driving a Hackney carriage) working, or wishing to work, as taxi, private hire or community transport driver.
Qualification Content
This qualification allows learners to demonstrate competence against the National Occupational Standards which are based on the needs of the Road Passenger Transport industry as defined by the Sector Skills Council, GoSkills.
As such it contributes to the development of skilled employees in the sector.
