Apprenticeships
A real job, with real training, meaning that you can earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification. You will gain hands-on experience in the industry you choose.
The minimum wage for an apprentice is £4.15 (under 19 years old or in first year of training) but some employers will pay substantially more. Many school leavers decide to enrol on an apprenticeship, but apprenticeships are available across a huge range of industries and range from level 2 to degree level.
