Overview

Driver CPC has been introduced across the European Union to maintain high driving standards and improve road safety.

All professional bus, coach and lorry drivers must hold a Driver CPC if they want to drive for a living, there are certain exemptions but most drivers of lorries over 3.5 tonnes, and minibuses with nine seats or more, must obtain a Driver CPC, which equates to 35 hours of training every 5 years.

Qualification Content

This Course aims to provide a cost effective means to Driver CPC by concentrating on the theory that underpins competent driving on today’s roads.

This one day classroom course accounts for 7 hours of essential Driver CPC training. Delegates should develop a positive attitude to driving and gain an understanding of how personal factors can affect performance.

Driver’s hours
Health and Safety/ Preventative maintenance
Emergency First Aid at Work
Safe Fuel Efficient Driving (this is classroom and practical based)

Each session is 7 hours and these courses can be delivered at your premises or at a local venue.
