First Aid at Work

Overview

It is a requirement of Health & Safety law that employers should ensure the health and safety and welfare of their employees and the public.

Employees must also provide adequate personnel, training and equipment to render first aid to their employees.

All workplaces need to appoint someone to take charge of first aid arrangements. This applies even if you are self-employed or a sole trader.

As well as being adequately trained, we believe that first aiders should be fully competent and confident in their skills so they can handle urgent and possibly life-threatening situations.
